- Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.
- Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.
- There is no limit on the number of raffle tickets an individual may purchase.
- The price of the ticket(s) is not deductible as a charitable donation for tax purposes in Canada.
- Ticket numbers are computer-generated in ascending order starting at a pre-determined number.

- 1 for $10.00; 500 tickets
- 3 for $25.00; 1,200 tickets
- 8 for $50.00; 800 tickets
50/50
BC Gaming Event Licence # 138545.
- 1 for $10.00; 4,000 tickets
- 3 for $25.00; 7,200 tickets
The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.
Maximum 50/50 payout will be $50,000.00.
Important Dates and Draw Information
DEADLINE:
Final ticket sales deadline: March 28, 2023, at 11:59:59 pm PDT
DRAW:
Raffle draw: March 29, 2023, at 10:00:00 AM PDT.
50/50 draw: March 29, 2023, at 10:00:00 AM PDT.
The draw will be held at Kamloops Hospice Association, 72 Whiteshield Cres S, Kamloops, BC
The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG).
Winners do not need to be present at the time of the draw.
Winners will be posted on Hospice social media and online at https://kamloopshospice.rafflenexus.com/winners on March 29, 2023.
Winners
The winner will be contacted by phone by the Kamloops Hospice Association.
Winners will have 60 days from the draw date to claim their prizes.
Prizes must be accepted as awarded with expiration dates, no substitutions or changes. KHA is not responsible for booking or ensuring that the prize is fulfilled.
Winners consent to the release of their names by the licensee.
If a winning ticket bears a minor’s name, the prize will be lawfully delivered on behalf of the minor to the minor’s parent, legal guardian, or trustee.
If the prize(s) need to be delivered, it will be done at the cost of the winner.
Proof of ownership of shared tickets is the responsibility of the purchaser, not KHA.

Members of Kamloops Hospice Association responsible for the conduct and management of the ticket raffle are not permitted to purchase tickets in the raffle. The following are not permitted to purchase tickets in this raffle: KHA Board Members and any staff members and volunteers directly associated with the conduct management of the raffle.

Delay in Draw
Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

Privacy
Kamloops Hospice Association does not sell, rent, or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.
Release of Liability
By entering this Raffle, all purchasers agree to be bound by these Rules of Play and release Kamloops Hospice Association, any event promoter together with the employees, officers, directors, and donors from and against all claims, demands, injuries, losses, and liabilities arising out of this Raffle. Kamloops Hospice Association will administer this Raffle in good faith and in the best interests of KHA.
